I've been lurking on this board since 153 lbs and now at 126 lbs I thought I would finally register and communicate with all the pretty people on this board who have helped me along my way without even knowing it. : )
I'm in the pre-maintenence phase slowly losing my last 6 lbs to ingrain and make permanent the habits I will keep for the rest of my life.
My weight loss has inspired my older sister and Mom (both with very comparable start and goal weights) to start atkins like well! My sister started about a month ago except was not successful at first as she fell into the "I can eat anything I want as long as it says low carb!" way that is dangerous. After I got her a copy of DANDR and she started through with inference she's well on her way! Mom just started today New Year's Day.
I just want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who contributes to this board - your stories tips thoughts and everything else inspire so many. I am grateful for all that you share!
