Job is a character in the bible found in the book of the same name who had a lot of heartache put on him. One behind another after another. My life feels comparable to Job's sometimes. Yet If I've learned anything from watching Nancy Grace it is that if you are on the side of good and not evil something good can come out of something awful. Do not let the event to rest you beyond repair(God helps me here) seem for a lesson and share what you learned.
Did you ever hear the old adage: play your cards close to the vest? I never understood why this is considered sound advice. I just thought why not tell everyone and their brother what you're into? Share about your likes/dislikes talents shortcomings etc. That's a friendly open way to let people get to understand you right? Don't be so trusting.
Let me tell you why I also stand behind this saying today. From personal experience I can tell you If someone hates you truly passionately hates you they WILL use this like a map to plot against you. You say you love it when your hubbie comes with you to cathedral camp retreats that don't cost as well much? Easy peasy. That just told your enemy to make sure those don't occur that easy anymore. What's that you say? Thanksgiving breakfast at church w/ your fam is the highlight of the year? Super then. We'll just see if that ever comes to fruition again. Promised a job? I can stop that easy. Your kids are in scouts you say? With people under my control (the snake hisses)? I'll receive concern of that too.Your daughter has a close relationship with you eh? And her best friend's mom is who? Aha! A plan is forming as we speak!(evil grin) You somehow found a way for your kids to go to preschool w/o being rich? What's that teacher's name again? Oh good. I know her too. Maybe I'll just tell her before your youngest gets there that he's a bad kid. And the trademark new kid director? I can make sure to stop by her office too. SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!
You know what the snake never planned on? God being in full control at all times! He is training his own to be capable to recognize you!
