The Fighting Illini ended 2009 on a high note with a 69-60 New Year's Eve victory through Penn State on Thursday at Assembly Hall. Illinois' three superstars all had a large hand in the victory like Jenna Smith Lacey Simpson and Karisma Penn combined for 57 points 31 rebounds and nine blocks.
