Former Abbeville High School football standout Jelani Smith spent two years at the University of Arkansas before deciding to complete his university career closer to home.
“I remember running off the field into the tunnel ready to leave and my wife and daughters were there screaming my name” said Platt one of seven officials for the university football championship game in Pasadena Calif. last Thursday. “That was just like cool as the game.”
